Almost seven years after first being introduced to Theros, Magic’s Ancient Greek-inspired set, we return to the world of gods and mortals.
The ancient seal on the Underworld of Theros has been breached, heralding the return of a forgotten god. Primordial powers are stirring, the gods are fighting amongst themselves, heralding an opportunity for Elspeth to undo her fate and escape the Underworld.
Once a new player understands Magic's basic rules, the Deck Builder's Toolkit jumpstarts their collection and introduces them to deckbuilding.

Brilliant way to start

Though every Deck Builder in a series comes with the same cards, the four Booster Packs add some variety. A friend and I both bought a Theros Beyond Death Deck Builder Toolkit some months back and were able to play our first games together without building the exact same decks. You won’t be able to create great Aggro or Control decks out of the Deck Builder Toolkits, but it certainly allows you the opportunity to learn the mechanics of the game and build your collection when starting out.
