Author Bio

Marlise Joubert is a freelance writer and a painter. She was the editor of four volumes of poetry featuring work of the poets participating in the annual Versindaba poetry festivals. Her first volume of poetry was published in 1970 and her seventh volume, Splintervlerk, was published in 2011 and was nominated for the SALA Poetry Prize in 2012. She is also the webmaster of Versindaba.co.za.
