Summary

  • A predetermined life feels like a destiny stolen. At least that is how Ya’akov feels. In a couple of years, he will be the first priest in the King’s Promised Kingdom, a destiny bestowed on him at birth. Feeling he is destined for a confined life, he wants a true adventure to provide more life-experiences before he commits to be a priest for the rest of his foreseeable future. The King allows him to go with the team placing teleporters throughout the world. He is excited for this adventure, and even finds a potential love interest as he works with the team. Yet, his adventure turns into a nightmare which leads him to become stranded at sea without any memory of his past. He is saved by a family who takes care of him while he recovers. As he rediscovers himself, he gains a new perspective on his life and on what true love means. When his memory returns, he has choices to make. Will he return to his bitter outlook on life, or keep his renewed perspective and the hope he has gained? Will he embrace his destiny or still push back to follow his own desires?
  • A priest of the Promised Kingdom goes on an adventure to gain life perspective, but finds more adventure, deception, and life-changing experiences than he expected.

Author Bio

Dockens, Randy: - Randy has a doctorate in both pharmacokinetics (how drugs work in the body) and in Biblical prophecy. He wants people to understand that science and faith can exist together, and, in fact, go hand in hand. He believes our future will be a positive one and be scientifically advanced where technology itself will become a way one can offer up worship. He likes for his books to be both fun to read and have a strong scientific bent. He lives with his family outside Philadelphia in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
