True Razer quality

I've upgraded from a Razer Death Adder 3.5G to this Chroma mouse and it has been a noticeable upgrade. The bottons feel a bit more clicky (especially the middle button) and the new 10 000 dpi sensor is amazing. I rarely go above 5500 dpi - it's super fast and smooth. I like my DPI high to prevent too much movement in my wrist to reduce RSI while gaming. The mouse feels great in my smallish hands. As with all Razer products, Razer Synapse is a great software package to manage and optimize your peripherals - especially with the Chroma series. You can change the colour of the back and the mouse wheel separately if you so wish and you won't run out of colours to use!

Very comfortable, quality build

I bought the DeathAdder Chroma to replace my Steelseries Sensei RAW mouse. I definitely would not go back to using a Sensei.
The plastic build feels considerably sturdier than the plastic build of the Sensei. The left and right clicks have a satisfying audible and tactile feedback.
The shape of the mouse is great for a claw grip (which I use when playing FPS games) and for a palm grip (which I use during normal computer work, and RTS/ RPG games). The large side buttons are easy to reach in both cases, and make a very satisfying click ("meatier" than the Sensei buttons).
The matte surface is smooth to the touch, and doesn't get sticky like a glossy surface. The textured rubber thumb and finger grips make sure that the mouse never slips out of your hand, even during fast movements.
Weighing in at just over 100g, the DeathAdder Chroma is tad heavier than the 90g Sensei, but it is still very light, and glides over my Steelseries Qck+ mousepad like a dream.
The Razer Synapse software is easy to use, and opens up all of the customization options for the mouse. LED lighting effects, LED colours, polling rate, DPI (up to 10000, brilliant optical sensor), macros and bindings, as well as linking certain profiles to certain games/ software. Your profiles are saved in the cloud, which is handy if you use your mouse on more than 1 computer.
My only complaint is regarding the LED colours. The dominant colours look great (red, blue, green, purple, white, yellow), but the shades of them are lacking. A light purple/pink is basically white. Same for brown, and the shades of grey that have no apparent difference. I also would like on option to have the scroll-wheel LEDs "breathe", an effect that causes the LEDs to fade on and off (which is available for the LEDs behind the Razer logo).
