Best audio experience thusfar

I've owned multiple headsets over the years and none have come even close to this one. I've had many Corsair and even Asus headsets and none hit the spot in terms of quality, sound reproduction and comfort. This headset does it all for me.

Loves:
-Love the detachable mic!
-Love the comfort (seriously, it's sooo comfortable)
-Love the sturdy metal construction
-Lightweight
-Extra earpads
-The quality of the sound is amazing, and if you pair it with a DAC you have happiness in your ears.

The only small complaint I have, sometimes when you're using the "7.1 surround sound" it doesn't feel like the surround sound is very accurate, and some noises would overpower others. I felt that normal stereo sound worked best for me, but that might be my own idiosyncrasies.

Definitely worth the money. Period.

Good standards! Great value!

This HyperX Cloud II is made to last and uses quality components and thus have a quality feel about them. Though this product is intended for PC users, Kingston does have a console headset as well. Luckily due to the amazing value, it wouldn't be a problem to own two of Kingston's headsets for each of the functions. (note- you can use the Cloud II on consoles though not on the PS3 and you wont be able to utilize the 7.1 feature).

The HyperX Cloud II can be adjusted by the aluminum bands to fit most head sizes though personally I find that at it's max setting it only just fits me at an angle but fits me very comfortably. People with larger heads might want to fit a friends set before buying this headset. I wouldn't have thought that I have a large head though I am 1.91m tall so I am not the smallest gamer out there.

All said and 'heard', the HyperX Cloud II will give you an amazing experience for a very long time and won't leave you with the thought of weather or not you could have used your hard earned money better elsewhere.

Amazing Headset!

The HyperX Cloud II is by far the best headset I have ever owned. It's design and build quality is fantastic, it's not heavy at all and extremely comfortable. The sound range is impressive and immediately noticeable (well, it was for me at least). Also the Virtual Surround Sound is not bad at all. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a reasonable priced, high quality, all round headset that does not look like it is a transformer/decepticon in hiding :)
