Castor Optical Gaming Mouse:

The CASTOR is a premium 6 button multi-color optical right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse. The unique shape has been developed to be used by right-handed gamers, and to equally support palm, claw and fingertip-grip. The mouse has a dedicated pinky- and ring-finger support-groove which makes it most comfortable to hold and lift.
The PMW-3310 gaming grade optical sensor has no positive or negative hardware acceleration, amazing accuracy, smooth tracking, and a maximum speed of more than 5.45m/sec (215 IPS) all the way up to 10000DPI. It is the choice of the world’s top pro-gamers and widely considered as the best gaming sensor currently available. The new lift-off distance (LOD) Calibration feature combines the Surface Quality Analyzer Tool (S.Q.A.T ™) with adjustment of the lift-off height to find the lowest possible LOD with optimized tracking. The lightning fast 32bit ARM™ processor enables the mouse to have numerous gaming features without compromising on the tracking of the sensor. The downloadable software provides access to fully customize all buttons, sensor settings, LED colors, macros and profiles.

Okay mouse with poor scroll

Reviewed by on

Bought this mouse for work. It's a great product but the scroll is very poor. When scrolling it would jump up and down even when the scroll stops moving, it goes 18 lines down then 5 up etc. The software is good and the mouse is programmed when you use it. What's nice about that is you can switch between computers and your mouse settings remains the same. Updating the mouse firmware doesn't fix the scroll problem and thereby I think it's a hardware fault. Search results on the web shows poor scroll performance so beware.

Got this during the mionix clearing out special really cheap. Feels really great and looks really simple.

Good mouse but squeaky scroll wheel

Good quality mouse but the mouse wheel feels "loose"

Nice mouse but questionable durability

I bought this mouse 3 months ago when it went on sale. I was very impressed with the build quality on the mouse and the overall design. It's been working well for me until a few weeks ago, since I've noticed that the scroll wheel isn't responding to clicks like it used to, unless I put extra pressure on the button. I'll probably have to return it soon for a replacement since it's still under guarantee. It was a great mouse when it worked 100% though.
