Description

Experience the action like never before with the Xbox One Wireless Controller. New Impulse Triggers deliver fingertip vibration feedback, so you can feel every jolt and crash in high definition (in supported games). Redesigned thumbsticks and an all new D-pad provide greater precision. Plus, keep the action going with the Play and Charge Kit, with a battery that recharges while you play or afterwards, even when your Xbox is in standby.

Brilliant controller

Reviewed by on

This is the new Xbox One S controller. This model has the 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth allowing for PC connectivity.

I use the controller for PC games and it works really well. While Bluetooth can be used, I often find myself connecting the controller via USB as I don't always have AA batteries on hand. The controller has a solid build with a slight rough texture on the back to prevent it from slipping out of your hands. Also the controller looks really good!

For PC users --> 9/10
If you're like me and wish to purchase this for PC use, I suggest using a microusb cable to connect as the 3.5mm jack does not work via Bluetooth. You can, however, purchase the Microsoft wireless adapter if you wish to use the controller wirelessly with your own headphones but i would not recommend this as you can simply use your PCs own headphone jack. Furthermore, the adapter offers no other benefits over Bluetooth.

For Xbox One users --> 10/10
Provided you get a battery pack or have a steady supply of AA batteries. The 3.5mm jack is a nice addition that was missing from the original controller. You can now game from the couch and use your own headset without the need for controller adapters.
