The Intel i5 8400 runs like a dream with minimal and heat and noise with the stock heatsink it comes with and would highly recommend it over the Ryzen 1600 for gaming due to the superior single core performance. Can handle the most demanding games with my EVGA GTX 1070.

Here is to another 2-3 years with this Intel CPU and for those budget conscious, get this CPU and save money on a B360 board and put the rest to a GPU that you want.
