"[T]he comic book world of SUICIDE SQUAD feels rich with grotesque touches and varieties of texture, from the dank to the ostentatious."
Ignatiy Vishnevetsky (2 Aug 2016, )
Entertainment Weekly
"SUICIDE SQUAD kicks off with fizzy, punk-rock ferocity....Viola Davis classes up the proceedings as Amanda Waller, a government agent who cherry-picks an all-star team of psychos, springing them from prison to lead a top secret mission..." -- Grade: B-
Chris Nashawaty (2 Aug 2016, )
The Guardian
3 stars out of 5 -- "The new DC Comics supervillain movie certainly brings the crazy with its team of psychopathic ex-convicts....Margot Robbie is entertainingly over the top as the toxic-barbie Harley Quinn..."
Peter Bradshaw (2 Aug 2016, )
Total Film
3 stars out of 5 -- "Early scenes are shot in tattoo-ink purples, gangrenous greens and electric blues....Frames shudder, edits jolt, and several images scorch the backs of eyeballs, not least Harley Quinn’s introduction..."

The extended cut is awesome

Reviewed by on

While the film itself is okay, the extended cut allows us to see more of the Joker, which was something this film was lacking.
