Movie Critics
A.V. Club
"[T]he action sequences, including a sci-fi train robbery and a smash-and-grab infiltration, unfold with the efficient professionalism often associated with director Ron Howard."
Jesse Hassenger (15 May 2018, )
Chicago Sun-Times
"Everyone in the ensemble is terrific -- but the show-stopping, effortlessly scene-stealing performance of the movie comes from Donald Glover as the charming, suave, sneaky-smart gambler and pilot Lando Calrissian."
Richard Roeper (22 May 2018, )
Empire
4 stars out of 5 -- "It’s a slick, swift-footed adventure which plays like a planet-hopping heist movie, and one which glides a long way on the charm of its leading man."
Dan Jolin (15 May 2018, )
Hollywood Reporter
"[With] engagingly choreographed performances, led by an irresistibly charismatic title turn from Alden Ehrenreich who ultimately claims Solo as his own..."
Michael Rechtshaffen (15 May 2018, )
New York Times
"Han is fresh-faced and earnest, a long way from the grizzled, Humphrey Bogart-ish cynicism of A NEW HOPE.....There are some fine action sequences..."
A. O. Scott (15 May 2018, )
RogerEbert.com
"[With] spirited performances, knockabout humor, and a few surprising or rousing bits....Served up with enough panache to make the trip engaging."
Matt Zoller Seitz (15 May 2018, )
Rolling Stone
"Alden Ehrenreich holds up his end of the bargain playing the young version of Han Solo, your iconic, smartass space cowboy."
Peter Travers (15 May 2018, )
The Atlantic
"[E]ntirely competent and enjoyable....Clarke does perhaps her best work outside of GAME OF THRONES, Harrelson is deep within his comfort zone, and if you are not already a fan of Glover (and, let’s be clear, you should be), this ought to make you one."
Christopher Orr (15 May 2018, )
The Guardian
4 stars out of 5 -- "[A] crackingly enjoyable adventure....The movie is a fun-fuelled entertainment."
Peter Bradshaw (15 May 2018, )
Total Film
4 stars out of 5 -- "[I]t’s the most fun entry since A NEW HOPE. All the scenes you’d want and expect are here..."

Completely Forgettable

Reviewed by on

As a result of an entirely miscast lead character, this film is was one of the most forgettable films of 2018.

- Slow
-Tedious
- Meandering

Even the nostalgia pay-offs are only half baked.

I would advise to perhaps give this one a miss, but the price is really great on Raru :)

These are not the droids we're looking for

Movies not bad, but the guy that plays han comes off as annoying.... All the time
