"[T]here are more arresting images than in the many Stallone-helmed installments..."
Jesse Hassenger (16 Nov 2018, )
Empire
"[T]here's pleasure to be had in spending time with these characters. Jordan and Stallone still retain their first film chemistry."
Ian Freer (16 Nov 2018, )
Hollywood Reporter
"[Viewers] see Brigitte Nielsen, sleek and imperious as ever, pop up in a couple of scenes as Ivan's ex. Another blast from the past is Bill Conti's original ROCKY theme, which surges onto the soundtrack at a key moment."
Todd McCarthy (16 Nov 2018, )
RogerEbert.com
3 stars out of 4 -- "It’s commendable that the film is committed to the character-based world building evident in the first CREED."
Odie Henderson (19 Nov 2018, )
Rolling Stone
"[Jordan has] grown into one of the single most charismatic screen performers working today, full stop, and in our current age of movie-star deficiency, spending two hours watching him be tender, tough, vulnerable, vengeful, downbeat and uplifting is time well spent."
David Fear (16 Nov 2018, )
Total Film
4 stars out of 5 -- "CREED 2 actually improves on its stellar predecessor....Lundgren’s onscreen reunion with Stallone is electric."
Total Film Staff (23 Nov 2018, )
Variety
"[T]he movie is a rousing and effective sequel, with a couple of surprise punches..."
