Loved it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A fantastic nonstop action movie but with heart too. Great themes of redemption, forgiveness, courage, and friendship. They have added some strong female characters, which is nothing new to this franchise, and refreshing to our modern times, no one is diminished to bring them to full rights. Spoiler alert, I liked the fact that they took the story in a new direction. The fact that Skynet was defeated, means Terminator 2 stays intact. What they had to do and sacrifice then to prevent it was successful. The new timeline preserves the originals, but allows for new ventures. It's too bad so many people benched it because of their preconceived ideas and never gave it a chance. I would love to see these characters on screen again.

Terminator Dark Fate.

As the name suggests, this film paints a dark fate for the Terminator franchise.
The film that was advertised as being the true continuation of the Terminator franchise, turned out to be nothing more than a forced feminist agenda disguised as a movie with the hopes of making money from a non-existent target audience... & they couldn’t even get that right, since every time our heroes find themselves in trouble, they need to be saved by a man.
The film may have even worked to a degree with the concepts they came up with, but killing off John Connor in the first 5 minutes of the movie, just felt like they didn't respect the original 2 films that started it all. The story is appalling, so no matter how good the performances, action scenes, or CGI are, the film just disappoints. The one good thing was the capabilities of the new terminator.
Unfortunately, the film was such a huge failure that the franchise is practically dead. Nobody will invest in a another Terminator movie any time soon.
