The King of Iron Fist Returns - Tekken 7

For Tekken fans there is always great anticipation for a new game in the series and this time we had to wait extra long for this comprehensive version of Tekken 7 on PS4, Xone and PC. Was it worth it? Yes! It definitely is the most advanced and feature packed Tekken game yet. The game has been built on Unreal 4 which seems to be the trend for major fighting games nowadays. The graphics are well polished. The characters look more life-like than ever before and the stages are highly detailed. The game runs very fast too with update 1.05 tweaking the graphics and frame rate a bit. the character roster is not as big as Tekken Tag 2 but that is to be expected. There are several new characters all of which are able to compete with long time veterans in the series. DLC has been lined up already which sees Eliza from Tekken Revolution and the famed Tekken Bowl mode make a comeback! There's a new type of story mode with two sections to it. The first half is focused on the long standing staple of Tekken's storyline - the Mishima saga and the second half focuses on each individual character not of the Mishima bloodline.
It's an awesome game that will keep you hooked and push your fighting skills to the limit. The only reason why I give it 4 out of 5 is because the net code for online play leaves much to be desired with glitches here and there and less than acceptable lag in international matches (1.05 addresses this but 1.06 strangely regresses!) and the lack of HDR support is strange. Other than that, great game!
