Truly a gem

I picked this game up in this year after reaading many reviews and checking out youtube videos. I must say the game is actually amazing and keeps you busy as you can do so many things to fill up the day. From just cruising and exploring the awesome surroundings to competing offline races and online races to earn rewards. The graphics are really stunning and controls feel very good. The customising it allows to do achieve is a nice touch as well from festival blueprints to the weather condition you want to race in. I really enjoy the bucketlist which adds more to the game. Overall the game ticks all the right boxes when it comes to racing games, especially open world.

Ok, I'll stop. But this is definitely one of the best games ever. There are only odd little glitches where the game freezes and the Xbox goes back to the dashboard, and the songs sometimes "jump" like a dirty CD. And the need for the internet can be tiresome
BUT, overcome these challenges, and you will become addicted! Fast cars, beautiful scenery, tough challenges, cray showcases, the ability to upgrade your car to the max straight away, without penalties in the race, only that the competition also runs upgraded cars.
I think the best feature is that this is your Forza festival. Don't like this race type? Change the car type in the blueprint, and while you are at it, change the weather, change lap amounts, change the name!
Create your own bucket list challenge, and upload it and challenge players around the world to beat your time of a 5 minute drive in a Bugatti, from the one end of the map, to the other, in tricky conditions, at night, and with full traffic.
And if you get the ultimate, or have the money for it, buy the DLC packs. Drive around on beautiful snowy roads, or drive on the tracks you dreamt up of as a child in the Hot Wheels expansion. Buy all the Porsche's this game has to offer.
You will not have a dull moment with this game, I gauren-damn-tee it!

I shred it up in Australia

Absolutely love this game, worth every penny (for online play).

* Weekly challenges
* Drifting is on-point
* Nice car line-up
* Great DLC (not free though)

Definitely recommend this one. Kinda like Need For Speed had a love-child with Gran Turismo.

Amazing game!

Forza fans get ready for the latest horizon chapter. Set in scenic Australia this game delivers on all fronts. Graphically outstanding, varied environments and gorgeously detailed cars deliver one of the slickest, visually jaw dropping experiences on the Xbox one, even more so on the S-model. An abundance of content both online and offline will keep you coming back. If you love the series, or are new to it, this ones for you, seamlessly blending arcade style street racing with simulation level modding and customisation. couple that with a decent sound track and you have a winning package.....just go buy it!

enjoyed FH2 a lot, & liking this sequel a whole lot more!

Really love that they chose to set this game in Australia. Great environments! Improves on almost everything its predecessor did. A must for any racing fan that owns an Xbox One.

For..ZAAAAA!!! Hey! Ho! Hey! ...Horizon 3 (I'll see myself out)

Okay, so I obviously can’t actually review it, yet (psst, it’s not out until September 27th), but using FH2 (that’s Forza Horizon 2…some Forza lingo for yer) as a base of reference, FH3 is going to be absolutely brilliant.

If super-duper realistic racing sims aren’t your bag (i.e. the big daddy Forza games), and you like something more arcadey but with a dash of realism (damage, weather…that sort of thing) then the Horizon series is exactly what you need.
Various racing events to partake in, beautiful vistas, a massive selection of cars…basically, you can haz fun.
That said, the ‘story’ of the past 2 weren’t exactly stellar, but if I wanted story, I’d play an RPG.

Right now, I want racing, and as far as racing games are concerned, you can’t go wrong with Forza.
