Doesn't live up to the complaints

Reviewed by on

I know this game has received a lot of negative publicity for reusing old resources and having some Pokemon not available, but I find this hardly detracts from the experience at all. Despite some of my usual favourites being unavailable I had a harder time than ever deciding which monsters to keep in my party and which to keep in the box, and thanks to the Box Link feature I was able to conveniently manage a party of thirteen rather than the traditional six. The shared EXP people complain about was also a heavensend in keeping my levels even where otherwise I simply wouldn't have had the time to grind every single monster individually. Dynamax battles are also a huge convenience thanks to the Pokemon you use not gaining experience from the fight as the EXP Candies you earn from them can be given to whichever Pokemon you wish.

TLDR if you know how to look for it the pros of this game vastly outnumber the cons
