The British countryside is gorgeous, the driving is incredibly well-balanced, and seasons have been masterfully implemented, allowing for more variety than ever before. Make no mistake that Forza Horizon 4 is one of the most comprehensive and polished racing games ever made.

Best of both worlds

The latest entry in the Horizon series is an absolute gem of an arcade sim. I enjoy the franchise's games for its less serious take on accurate driving simulation(even though it should be highly regarded) in favour of a more chaotic arcade style. Elements from the previous titles are all present, with the addition of seasons, a very welcome one at that. Players now have to account for the weather when deciding what car to use and that makes the game all the more entertaining. I'd go as far as saying the Horizon games have managed to draw relevance parallel to the mainline Forza series, dare I say, even better? Horizon 4 in particular does a great job of putting players in a relatively scaled open world with plenty to do so as to not make it feel empty. Striking the perfect balance for fans of driving simulators and arcade racing. Now is the perfect time to jump into the series, if you hadn't already played the previous titles. I highly recommend.'s a jolly good fellow, Forza's a jolly good fellow...AND SO SAY ALL OF US!!!

More like a review in progress, really.

Unfortunately I don't have as much time to rickity rickity wreck havoc on the streets in ye olde England, and have only recently unlocked Winter. But, the time I have spent playing it has been fun, and eventually, I shall own a castle where I shall park all my lovely automobiles (because England).

That said, FH4 is hands down the best arcade racing sim (fine line and all) and I'd argue an absolute must for anyone who enjoys a racing game.

BUY IT!!!!!!!

Best Horizon game yet
