So far, only delved into the single player aspect.
Pros: Graphics are awesome. Load times are awesome. Seems pretty loyal to a D&D purist. Damage is shown in real time which I’ve always enjoyed. So far, battles are not that easy on a setting that is a step up from easy.
Cons: my biggest complaint is ZERO character customization. You get to choose from 4 heroes, and that’s it. NO magic user, sorcerer or wizard available. Huge disappointment in my book. Also, camera angle gets a little weird in fight scenes and may have your character slashing at air rather than the target.
Another major problem is that you have to complete an Act to get and use your loot. That’s right. Find a ring after a battle? Most games you can use your loot immediately to help your character. Not here. You’ve got to make it to the end of the Act before you get to claim and equip it. Ridiculous.
In the end, it is just another hack and slash game that will put your controllers buttons through the paces.
